Russell Sage (1816-1906), financier. Associate of Jay Gould and active promoter of Railroads and other companies, amassing an estimated $70 million by the time of his death. Alexander Mitchell (1817-1887), banker and politician. President of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St.Paul Railway 1864-1887. Considered the wealthiest man in the State. One hole through the 'ell' and another just touching the 'R', GVF.
