1876 (10 June) double rate front and part back to New Orleans, bearing (4d.) yellow and (6d.) mauve, both cancelled by poor "A11" obliterator, showing red crayon "8", despatch double-arc d.s., "new york/due 10 cts" transit c.d.s. (3.7) with, on reverse, St. Thomas (14.6) and arrival (6.7) datestamps. The only recorded example of this franking. B.P.A. Certificate (1978)
