1857 (June) envelope registered from Sandhurst to Locarno, Switzerland bearing imperf Octagonal 1/- vertical pair (cut-into at right), Woodblock imperf 6d., "registered" 1/- (small corner fault) and Emblem imperf 4d. (affixed over right edge), all cancelled by Barred Numeral "5", showing "Crown/registered" h.s. and large circular-framed "pd", both in red, "charge", handstruck "d6", London Registered (23.9) and Calais (25.9) transit datestamps with Swiss transit and arrival datestamps on reverse; the envelope with top flap missing.
