1859 1d. pale lake on unwatermarked paper, imperforate marginal block of eight from the left of the sheet, cancelled by ink lines denoting Reference or Specimen stamps


Note: Perkins, Bacon & Co. were contracted to supply one-thousand stamps per consignment and as the necessary seventeen sheets of sixty totalled one-thousand and twenty, the remainder were cancelled in manuscript.
