Labrang (Xiahe): 1939 (19 Mar.) envelope to Sining bearing, on the reverse, Sun Yat Sen 5c. green tied by a fine strike of Labrang dotted c.d.s. with a second strike alongside, with Linxia transit and, on the address side, small Sining arrival (30.3); there is an unclear boxed handstamp in black. With the original merchant's letters. Both the Labrang and Sining c.d.s. predate the recorded usage period. Photo
