1904 (8 Aug.) Younghusband envelope to his wife in Darjeeling bearing India K.E.VII 1a. (3, one defective) tied by Lhasa type B1 c.d.s., the reverse with faint Darjeeling arrival c.d.s. (14.8) and the crest of the Tibet Frontier Commission printed on the flap. Unusual and rare. Ex Dougan. Also two pieces bearing Q.V. 3p. grey tied by this c.d.s. dated (3.8), the opening of the Military Post Office, and (4.9) the day of the signing of the Treaty. Photo

榮赫鵬遠征西藏封: 1904年8月8日寄大吉嶺封, 貼印度K.E.VII 1a. (三枚, 其一有破), 銷拉薩B1型日戳, 封背蓋較模糊的大吉嶺8月14日到達戳, 罕見. 另有两枚Q.V. 3p. 剪片, 亦銷這日戳 (8月3日), 此亦是軍事郵局開局日, 及9月4日是條約簽署之日.
