1d. red-brown, Plate 15: KG-KI, horizontal strip of four, barred oval cancellations, on long entire letter to Ashby-de-la-Zouch, dated 27 Oct. 1855, dated markings on reverse; a little stained and two clean vertical filing folds (one between the stamp) affect the strip. Nevertheless an exceptionally rare strip which illustrates how the centring varies within the sheet, possibly the only recorded multiple of this stamp.
