1881 envelope from Levuka to London, bearing 1877 (Jan.) laid paper 6d. rose pairs (2), both neatly and clearly tied by "sunburst" cancel (Proud Type K1), showing framed "too late" h.s. (unlisted by Proud) partly overstruck by red London Paid arrival d.s. (26.9). A magnificent franking which is probably, if not the, finest cover bearing this issue and a major exhibition showpiece.
