A DNO : FACTVM EST ISTVD ET EST MIRAB : IN OC : NRIS •, square-topped shield over cross fourchée with heart-shaped terminals, heraldic devices in angles, 12.31g, 10h, m.m. spur rowel (Schneider II, 77 same dies; Dr Broughton 451, same dies; King 65, same dies; N.2108; Spink 2632), lightly cleaned and possibly made round otherwise uniformly and evenly struck which is seldom encountered for this type, very fine, a pleasing example of one of England's largest gold coins
