Anglo-Boer War Medal 1899-1902 (Artlst. W. J. Wessels.), extremely fine

Sold with an old note stating 'Staats Artillerie'.

The Staatsartillery were under Captain G. H. Kruger, D.T.D., at Mafeking, Dalmenta, Magaliesberg, Bethlehem, Vrede and Harrismith. They were the only Boer unit to wear an official uniform.
