John Edward Garwood was born on 20 April 1912 and was commissioned in the Stores Branch on 6 January 1936 and served on the North West Frontier. Serving during the Second World War he was advanced Wing Commander on 1 July 1948 and retired from the Supply (formerly Equipment) Branch on 30 April 1956; sold with copied research.
