George Henry Sabine was a pre-war Territorial who saw service during the Great War as a Private (No.1378 later No.200092) with the 1st/4th Battalion in India from late 1914. They landed in Aden in January 1916, before moving to Egypt in January 1917 and seeing service in Palestine from June 1917.
