British War and Victory Medals (M. E. Swindells. V.A.D.), good very fine (2)

Mary Elizabeth Swindells was born on 24 November 1887 and served with the V.A.D. at the Military Hospital, Malta from 30 August 1915-11 April 1916 and in France from 12 July 1916-12 January 1918. She died in Dorset in 1988; sold together with St John Ambulance Association badge, the reverse engraved '9776 M. E. Swindells' and copied research including portrait photograph.
