Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Rhodesia, Relief of Mafeking (615 Tpr: E. H. Hudson. S. Rhod: Vols:); 1914-15 Star (Pte. E. H. Hudson 1st Rhodn. Rgt.); British War and Victory Medals (R-38819 Pte. E. H. Hudson. K. R. Rif. C.), together with his Silver War Badge, this numbered 'B262208' and in its numbered card box of issue, very fine (5)

Ernest Howard Hudson served with the South Rhodesia Volunteers during the Boer War and joined the 1st Rhodesian Regiment (No. 78) during the Great War, serving with them in the Cameroons from 3 October 1915. He thence joined the British South Africa Police (No. A-115) and eventually the King's Royal Rifle Corps, being issued a Silver War Badge on account of wounds.
