1916 (14 Aug.) envelope registered from Mafia to Cornwall, bearing 1915 (Sept.) German East Africa fiscal 1r. lilac without "o.h.b.m.s.." in combination with 1915-16 I.E.F. stamps handstamped "g. r/post/mafia" 3p. to 8a., all cancelled with "mafia" single-ring datestamp in blue, the reverse with Zanzibar (16.8), London Registered (16.9), Exeter (19) and Bude (19.9); 2½a. with pinhole and cover fractionally truncated at foot.
