A superb selection comprising mostly newspaper / parcel stamps (c.30) including 'Prepaid Newspaper Parcel' (a) 2d. under 7lbs part original gum, 'Newspapers or Periodicals' (a) 1d. under 3lbs part original gum, (b) 1d. (torn), 2d. (unused) and 3d. part original gum, scarce, design VI 3d. under 14lbs a little torn, quite soiled but unrecorded and 4d. under 28lbs fine, both part original gum and scarce, design VII 'Newspaper Parcel / Scotland to England' 6d. used, 'G series' range including 9d. and 1/- used (both unrecorded), also large format 1d., 3d. and 7d. (torn) parcel labels unused, also letter stamps (5) including 4d. handstamped 'SPECIMEN' (affixed to paper) and 1921 Jan. (III) unused, also 1905, 1906 covers both to London and 1920 front to Glasgow all bearing 2d. alongside KEVII 1d. with related letters cards and tickets including two 'Tickets for Dogs, Bicycles, Excess Luggage, &c.'. An interesting and valuable lot.
