A selection comprising used stamp and parcel labels including 1860 Prepaid Newspaper Parcel 3lb. overprinted 'NORTHERN / DIVISION / UNDER / 40 Miles", used with manuscript cancel, 1870 10d. unused, 1875 1d., 2d., 3d. and 4d. used, group of 1880 used, a range of used prepaid parcel stamps, two covers bearing 'GWR' perfin stamps, two postally used G.W.R. printed envelopes and one 1871 cover addressed to The Revd. Moorhouse Hall with letter on G.W.R. letter paper signed "Tho.s W. Ward", also two printed envelopes, one to 'The News Editor, Daily News Westminster Gazette, London', bearing two vertical pairs of 1882 black on yellow, the other to 'The Editor of the South Wales Daily News, Cardiff' bearing 2d. black on blue.
