Tahuko (Iles Marquises): 1905 (27 June) envelope to Papeete franked 10c. with Iles Marquises/Tahuko (date inverted) cancellation; the envelope with faults but addressed to Paul-Louis Vernier, the missionary who was responsible for the establishment of the French missions in the colony. The Tahuko cancellation is believed to be the only recorded example on this issue
