1896 (18 Sept.) envelope to New Mexico franked 25c. with Papeete cancellation, undelivered and returned to sender with "retour/a l'envoyeur" (reversed "n") handstamp, an interesting range of transit and arrival markings and Cabinet/du/Gouverneur cachet on the reverse; a few small perimeter faults but fine and the only recorded cover bearing this issue to New Mexico
