1904 (28 May) envelope to Marseille, endorsed by the Commandant at Seguela that no stamps were available, Bouake and octagonal Loango a Bordeaux/L.L. No. 4 transit, "T" in triangle and 15c. Postage Due with Marseille cancellation indicating that the recipient paid the postage only without any penalty; some staining but fine and very rare. This is the only recorded example of the treatment of civilian Colonial mail in this manner during this period
