Pierce and another airmen in front of his plane, signed by all three and with the upper photo marked "Cairo to Khartoum Flight. Pourpe", the one below showing his plane and marked "Pourpe's mono-plane at Cairo After his flight from Khartoum". A wonderful pair of original photos connected with this famous flight and aviator
