1872 (Nov.) envelope addressed to a soldier in Amsterdam, marked "Via Brindisi" (deleted) and "Marseilles", bearing 1867-72 4c. rose (2, both with wing-margin, one damaged) and 12c. blue (faults), all with firm's chop and one 4c. and the 12c. cancelled with small circle of bars, showing "singapore/paid" c.d.s., unframed "p.d." and, on reverse, Paris and arrival datestamps; the cover with a few minor faults.
