Pl. 36 pair and single, each centrally cancelled and showing oval-framed "p." in red with despatch and arrival d.s. on reverse; 1858 (14 Aug.) entire letter (small part reverse missing), with disinfection slit, to Rome, bearing 1857 LC14 1d. Pl. 43 pair and single (affixed over left edge), centrally cancelled, showing oval-framed "p." in red, "via di mare" h.s. with despatch and arrival c.d.s. on reverse), plus large part entire to Naples bearing 1857 LC14 1d. Pl. 43 and 1858 2d. Pl. 6; also 1858 (Mar.) entire to Italy (letter cross-written over face panel) to Sicily, bearing 1857 LC14 1d. (2) and showing oval-framed "p." in red, no sign of another 1d. missing
