1899 (3 June) Egypt 5m. stationery card from Cairo to Malta and returned, showing Malta arrival c.d.s. (5.6.), fine oval undated "disinfected/lazaretto malta" (LAZ-C8), manuscript "Left Malta, no address" and "retd letter branch/g.p.o. malta" c.d.s. (22.7); the card a little discoloured through disinfection and with some minor corner creases. Very scarce. Photo
