Federal Reserve Bank, 1 dollar, series 1969 B, serial number K 00000371 A, black, George Washington at centre, black seal with 'K' at centre,
(Pick 449c, Fr. 1905-K), The note is personally signed by John Connally, the Secretary of the Treasury of the US from 1971-72 and the Governor of Texas. Connally was in the presidential limousine with president John F. Kennedy during Kennedy's assassination. The note is accompanied by a letter written by Connally to Mr and Mrs. Hayden Head who was the federal judge for the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas. The letter thanked Mr and Mrs Head for their kindness and friendship. Low number note with interesting provenance
