1925 (7 November) commemorative flag in the Italian colours reading "De Pinedo Roma, 7 Novembre 1925 Stabilimento di Costrzioni Aeronautiche" celebrating the 55,000 km cross-Atlantic Rome-Melbourne-Tokyo-Rome flight which ended on the Tiber. Since Pinedo's landing, the port in which Pinedo landed has become known as "Scalo de Pinedo". Flag is mounted on a navigation chart. Flag fragile on thin fabric with damage to the bottom, otherwise attractive and rare. Photo

For Pinedo's great achievement, the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale awarded Pinedo the FAI Gold Air Medal, the Regia Aeronautica promoted Pinedo to Colonel and King Victor Emmaunuel II made him a marquis.
