1790 (24 September) LS written in French from St. James' to Ferdinand I, to congratulate the King on the arrangement of three marriages between his children and the Austrian royal family, strengthening European ties. Signed "Charlotte" on paper folded in the usual manner to a thin rectangle, sealed in red wax with the Queen's crest visible on the front and attaching red silk ribbon to front and back. Fine. Photo
