1565 (1 September) exchequer warrant from "Richard Mynstley" requesting "the allowance for riding by the commandment of the Right Honourable Lord High Treasurer of England from his place in London into Leicester, thence to Loughborough to my Lord Loughborough and to him delivered a writ with my Lord's letters, and so returned again to London to my Lord" with payment to be "IIs VIIId" (2/ 8d.). With "receipt at Westminster. I was on this journey xv days - paid full allowed". Photo
