Great Britain: Sir James Laing and Sons Ltd., £10 ordinary shares, 1[899], #74, issued to Arthur Laing and signed by Hugh Laing and Bryan Laing as directors, stylised vignette of early sailing ship at left, ornate border, green, printed by Andrew Reid of Newcastle, ink cancelled. Shipbuilders at Deptford Yard, Sunderland, established in 1793. Built liners for both Cunard and P & O. also built the first oil tanker for Marcus Samuel of Shell in 1892. EF.
