Portugal: Lisbon Steam Tramways Co. Ltd., a group of 20 mortgage debentures for £100, 1873, large format pieces with ornate border, heavy scrollwork at left, black, with coupons, printed by Waterlow & Sons. Promoted by financier Baron Grant, the company intended to build a line from Lisbon to Sintra. As with most of his companies it ended up in court and was soon wound up. Generally EF (20).
