(x) 1984-86 Marine Life 33c. essays (2) comprising Two-spine Angelfish and Red-Fin Butterfly Fish, both on gummed perforated paper with an additional vertical perforation through the design; also an issued vertical strip of four, the upper pair with defective deep blue-green printing and the strip with additional vertical perforation through the designs, presumably printer's waste. BW 1048E(1)-(2), $1400

Note: These essays are printed by multicolour offset lithography on small pieces of stamp paper perforated by large commemorative-size comb, such that the perforations pass through the designs. These are apparently unadopted designs, and the perforations may be intended as a form of defacement.
