2d., 4d., 6d. and 1/-, each handstamped "cancelled" (GB 14), unused without gum; the 1/- a little faded though a rare group. Photo

Note: These stamps come from a printing when the Inland Revenue authorised De La Rue to apply this overprint to twelve examples of postage and revenue stamps printed or overprinted for use in various British territories and postal agencies. Six examples were placed in a record book held by the Inland Revenue controlling officers and De La Rue's works, and six were kept in company's records. The Inland Revenue book, currently in the British Library contains only one example of each value, with no evidence of the removal of the other five.
