1930 (6 Oct.) envelope registered from Baghdad to Canada, franked at 6a. and carried on "City of Basra" which made a forced landing in the desert on 10 October. A second plane failed to locate it and also made a forced landing. RAF machines finally located the plane and made the necessary repairs to enable it to continue to Cairo. Photo
