Incoming Mail: 1891 (5 Feb.) commercial envelope to Diercking bearing Shanghai 1890 5c. carmine-pink (with lower margin) tied by "local post/shanghai" seal and, on the reverse, Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. in blue along with the company handstamp. A rare and important cover which is thought to be one of only five forerunner covers mailed from Shanghai. Photo


1891年2月5日寄蕪湖海關Diercking收商業外來封, 貼1890年上海工部帶下邊紙雙龍五分票, 銷上海工部郵戳, 在封背蓋藍色上海工部日戳, 旁有一枚大型商行印記; 相信這是蕪湖信館成立前, 僅見五件上海寄蕪湖的信封之一.
