10c. brown on rose, tête-bêche pair contained in an irregular block of seven, exhibiting the inverted position at top left, resulting in "head to head" and "face to face" tête-bêches, uncommonly well centred for this stamp, paying the triple weight letter rate up to 50 grams on June 1874 large envelope from Monfort-le-Rotrou to St. Calais, tied by faint strikes of "2492" dotted lozenges, reverse showing "bureau de passe" 2188 and arrival c.d.s.'s.
