20c. black, a magnificent example with intense colour, strong impression and good to large margins on envelope to Vannes, tied by "La Roche-Bernard/1 Janv. 1849" medium c.d.s. (25mm), neatly struck also at left and distinctly displaying the first day of issue, with arrival on reverse on 2 January.
