(x) Stephen (1135-54), Penny, 1.36g, Cross Pommée (Awbridge) type, Sudbury, Gilebert, crowned and bearded bust three-quarters left, holding sceptre in right hand, rev. gil[ebert] : on [: svd], voided cross within beaded quatrefoil, a fleur in each angle springing from the quatrefoil (Mack 124b; N.881; S.1282), reverse slightly off centre, flat in places but very fine, a very rare type for Sudbury
