(x) Stephen (1135-54), Penny, 1.31g, Cross Pommée (Awbridge) type, Norwich, William, crowned and bearded bust three-quarters left, holding sceptre in right hand, rev. + pillem[? on] nor, voided cross within beaded quatrefoil, a fleur in each angle springing from the quatrefoil (Mack 118f; Elmore-Jones, BNJ XXVIII, p.550 note: N.881; S.1282), good very fine, an attractive portrait piece

Elmore-Jones notes a coin in the Norwich Castle collection that is of an uncertain moneyer, possibly William, with a surname G. This coin clearly has the space for another letter after the name William before on nor.
