The following lots comprise entries for the competitions for ½d., 2½d. and 5d. postage stamps, 1d. and 2d. postcards, and ½d. and 1d. newspaper wrappers. Each entry was submitted under a "nom de plume" and this together with the entry number is given at the beginning of each description
½d. postage stamps only
"Epoch" (no number): design with "south australia" in diagonal panel with gum tree, arms, lyrebird and viniculture in panels, enlarged to 26x33mm.; and "Laughter" (no number): Kookaburra design, enlarged to 39x41mm.; both well drawn (especially the latter) in pen and ink
