1862-67 no watermark, 1d. Indian red imperforate block of twelve (4x3), each crossed by neat horizontal and vertical pen stroke, the block marked "e-p" on reverse being part of the proposed new watermark design for the 1866 issue; some minor peripheral faults and the odd light tone on reverse. Note: On 17th February 1863, a complete sheet of 120 was sent to Perkins, Bacon & Co. by the Queensland Government Printer, Thomas Ham (of Victoria Half-Lengths fame), as a pattern for the proposed new watermark, "queensland - postage/stamps - stamps" in three lines of script capitals
