1853 (12 Jan.) entire letter to Paris, bearing France 1849-52 25c. pair (touched or slightly cut into at left and top) and 1f. carmine (large margins and showing a trace of the adjoining stamp at top), tied by grille sans fin and showing, on reverse, framed "trinite" and Paris arrival (14.3); fine and highly attractive. The only recorded use of the framed "trinite" handstamp used on a franked cover. Photo
