Types 6, 7 and 8 in red on 2a. blue
2a. blue horizontal pair, the left-hand stamp R.2/2 Type 8 with small "2" in fraction with curly tail, the right-hand stamp Type 6 with variety Roman "1" in "½", unused with large part original gum. Fine and very rare with only eight Type 8 examples possible. R.P.S. (1971) and B.P.A. (2018) Certificates. S.G. 26k, 28, £5,250. Photo

Note: Hitherto surcharge Type 8 has been attributed only to Overprint Setting 3, however, the overprints in this pair clearly belong to Overprint Setting 4
