Overprint Setting 3
Printing 6, August/September 1896 - ½a. to 2½a., 4a. and 8a.
These two changes resulted in the emergence in the final version of Setting 3 (Hall's Setting C)

1a. plum surcharged "2½" in black pane of sixty (6x10) from the bottom right half of the sheet with margin (some toning) at foot and centre sheet mark at bottom left, unused with some backing paper adhering to reverse; stained and other faults. Very rare being one of only five panes of Setting 3 recorded, and one of only two with the surcharge in black. See plating chart in figure 10. Photo
