Printing 6, August/September 1896 - ½a. to 2½a., 4a. and 8a.
The diaeresis over second "a" variety was quickly noted and removed. Two other notable changes occurred, resulting in the emergence of the final version of Setting 3 (Hall's Setting C)

First the Gothic second "z" in R.7/5 was removed and replaced by a normal second "z", resulting in another position for the normal second "z" and inverted "q" for "b" variety
1a., 2a., 2½a. and 12a. all showing variety normal second "z" and inverted "q" for "b", large part original gum
