Note: On April 19th three RAF Southampton flying-boats, S1419, S1420 and S1151, flew from Seletar to inspect landing sites in Borneo. They left Kuching on April 21st, calling at Bintulu, Miri, Brunei, Kudat and arriving at Sandakan on April 26th. The return flight started the next day, following the same route, but an eight day stay at Sibu to carry out a geological survey, delayed their return to Kuching until May 11th. A small mail was carried on their return flight from Kuching to Seletar on May 13th.
