1929 (13 July) envelope flown by the "Venus" on the final flight from Kuching to Singapore, addressed to London, marked "Per Air Mail to Singapore", franked at 16c. and showing special "kuching/air mail" datestamp for 18 July and, on reverse, Singapore arrival c.d.s. (18.7); the envelope with some faults at top caused though opening. 200 letters were carried. Photo

Note: The Government Air Service was abandoned and W.H. Philip was given the seaplane "Venus" as compensation.
