1856 (29 Apr.) entire to London, marked "Via Southampton", bearing 4a. blue and red 4th printing, cut to shape, crossed by manuscript "Stamped" and tied by clear "B/147", showing red crayon "6d", arrival Paid c.d.s. and, on reverse a faint strike of "penang/p.o." double-ring d.s. in red. A few peripheral faults, nevertheless fine and desirable. Rare, only about six 4a. covers from Penang recorded. (ID). Photo
