1793 (20 Jan.) partly printed document from the Hospital at Morne Fortune when at this time the island was under the administration of Martinique, headed "colonais françaises, sainte lucie, Isle du vent/de l'amerique", fine condition

Note: After war broke out between Britain and France, St. Lucia was captured by the English on 13th December 1778 and not restored to France until the Treaty of Versailles on 20th January 1783.
