1842 (c.) small envelope addressed to the Colonial Bank, Grenada, rated "4d" and showing, on reverse, the unique unframed "grenada/ship letter" handstamp; the envelope with repaired tear across face panel due to opening, nevertheless an exceptional cover with outstanding pedigree. Photo

Note: This handstruck marking is recorded in the G.P.O. records in London and was sent to Grenada on 27 August 1841.
