1898 (7 Jan.) envelope to Dublin bearing 1d. rose-carmine pair and bisect cancelled by Kumasi c.d.s. with handstruck "T" and "1d", the reverse bears further despatch c.d.s., Cape Coast (15.1) and Liverpool Br. Packet (15.2) c.d.s.; some light soiling and the bisect tied to the other adhesives. The use of this bisect was not authorised from Kumasi hence the ½d. has not been accepted and the cover taxed accordingly. S.G. 12b. Photo
